Lifeguards for condo pools

Your board shouldn't have to manage lifeguard schedules. We take over the complete supervision of your building's pool, from opening day to closing day.

Outdoor pool at a condominium building

A pool residents enjoy, without the burden on the board

In a condo, the pool is often the most loved part of the building, and the one that causes the most headaches: crowds on hot weekends, children without supervision, rules nobody wants to enforce. We take over supervision so the board and the property manager don't have to think about it.

What we do for your building

  • Qualified lifeguards whose certifications we verify
  • Schedules built around your opening hours
  • Replacements handled by us, even at the last minute
  • A stable team that gets to know your residents
  • One point of contact for the manager or the board
  • Optional: swim lessons for your residents with Nage Assurée

Does a condo need a lifeguard?

Not always. Since July 17, 2025, Québec rules do not require pools in residential buildings to have a lifeguard. The syndicate must still post and enforce certain rules, including a maximum of 15 bathers at a time and no swimming alone. If it can't enforce them, or wants more than 15 people in the pool, supervision becomes mandatory. Details are in our guide to the rules.

Summer season or year-round

For an outdoor pool, we cover the season from opening to closing. For an indoor pool, the service can continue all year.

Frequently asked questions

How many lifeguards does our pool need?

It depends on the size of the pool, how busy it gets and the layout of the area. We work it out with you during the site visit, and it's written into the quote.

Who employs the lifeguards?

We do. Recruitment, payroll, source deductions, schedules and supervision are our responsibility.

Can you cover only certain hours?

Yes. Many buildings choose to cover their busiest hours, such as weekends and summer afternoons.
